Why not run the SB directly to small active speakers? Are you looking for sonic quality or just the ability to control via rS232? What speakers are you intending to buy? Whats your total budget for the whole kaboodle , including cables? What senns are you using? A set of 580's + a headphone amp run from rcas will give you a major quality boost if you using low end phones from the headphone out of the SB and might be a LOT more satisfying than the speaker setup.
