Hello,
I had ML quests for 2 years so and sold them, so i didn't went to the
stage of having to change the stators, but i think that 15 years is a
long time. My dealer told me that the limit was around 10 years, if
that's true then your pair must have lost a lot but slowly, so IMO
changing the stators would be the right move and give you back the
sound that seduced you in the first place. Unless, of course, if the
desire of change drives you towards an other direction. But $1000 will
not get you very far, i think you will be disappointed.
