Heard both in Glasgow yesterday at Loud and Clear. the Klimax is well what would you expect with that moniker?. it's superb at what it does.it won't play Mp3 format -yet. the Akurate did a very good job too,but i don't know if i could justify £3k + for the Akurate. i would like the Transporter 'cos i like the whole Slim Devices system of implentation. also being a radio surfer i enjoy the menu of high bit rate classical stations like AVRO's 320kb output. like 'Phil i will be attending the Akurate evening for another listen and gab!. both music streamers'nemeses?,was sitting in the corner - a fully SE'd LP12 with DR T laughing at these two whippersnappers....
