Thanks so much for your reply.

AFAIK, the Rowland itself doesn't have a feature to invert polarity. I
was indeed doing it on the Transporter itself -- in SqueezeCenter, in
the player settings.

Everything works fine until I select Inverted polarity in SqueezeCenter
-- you really think this is a problem with the amp?
