What an odd thing to say - I can't recall anyone here ever asking that.
Why not provide an example?  That should be very easy, since according
to you it happens every time.

If it sounds better it sounds better.  It might be because you're
imagining it (which doesn't change the fact that it sounds better to
you) or because the sound is different in a way you like, but either
way I don't see how you could ever assign a single number to describe
how much better it is.
