So, you know that brain cells (= neurons I read) are being repaired? When I search on Google I see that they can repair by injecting you with stem-cells etc. plus that, for only 2 parts of the brain, new cells are produced which is new because they always thought that all repair and production of new cells stopped at young age. From reading some pages I found, I'm not convinced that cellular level damage in the brain is repaired by the body. In fact, by reading this document: http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news/Brain-Cell-Repair-Loss-disclosed-4334-1/ which is from researchers at Stanford University, I actually believe that I was right because it states: "adult brain cells lose the ability to repair themselves". iPhone;339350 Wrote: > Next, the new cellular phones are digital for both voice and data. > Digital cell phones only use maximum power when they have to. > Additionally the human head is NOT resonant at cellular phone > frequencies which make coupling cellular phone RF energy to the brain > very low to nonexistent. Your head isn't resonant at these frequencies, but molecules in your braincells are. When you stick your head in a microwave, you'll find that out quick enough: you cook until well done. iPhone;339350 Wrote: > Microwave ovens use a magnetron to produce @ 1000 Watts of forward RF > energy in an enclosure designed to reflect the energy into the center > of the enclosure. Yes, so it takes a cellphone way longer to cook your brain. A rough estimate: only 30% of radiated RF from phone enters brain, let's keep that at only 100 mW. A microwave big enough for my head is indeed 1000W. So with only 100mW the phone needs 10,000 times as long to damage my brain compared to the microwave. So, how long does the 1000W microwave need to damage my brain? 5 seconds? times 10,000 = less than 14 hours. iPhone;339350 Wrote: > Most Microwave Ovens operate at 2.45GHz which is closer to the WiFi > frequency then even the high band GSM freq of 1.9GHz. But I don't believe that freqs closer to wifi damage my brain much more than freqs that are 0.5 GHz lower as long as the RF level is the same. Brains cells know nothing of wifi frequency. Although I can believe that they optimized microwave frequency for it's purpose, I don't think that the difference between 1.9 and 2.45 GHz matters much in the amount of damage done. Anyway, reading stuff like this: http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news/Use-of-Cellular-Phones-associated-with-Increased-risk-of-Brain-Tumors-1-1/ makes me happy that I seldom use cellphones. cheers, Nick. -- DeVerm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DeVerm's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18104 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52348 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
