Well you managed to to make a mod that makes an difference one can hear. How do you now it is better ? which is the best reproduction of the original source ? Sorry for being over skeptic, but countless audiophile mods confuse different with better.
I'll second Phil's wish for an oscilloscope pic. This does not seem so hard to do, if it's realy does anything good. I can solder so I can make this. Btw I'm using a MeridianG68J processor as dac, it has some very good dejittering and buffering etc, it is really insensitive to any problems with spdif signals if they are inside some kind of "quality window" if you get what i mean, I've had older dac's that could exhibit all kinds of audible differences but not my current setup.
