I didn't realize you were in the UK. Although the MS1s are the best in the US at this price point, as they decrease Grados occasional Grato highs, with the distribution and pricing channels outside the US, the choice is really a no brainer. They should be much cheaper for you. Just be aware they can take a couple weeks to ship and that the come with the sr60s comfy pads. Personally, because of the highs issues at the lower sr level, I think the MS1s generally out perform the sr-60/80/125 and while not as technically capable as the 325 in especially detail and speed, I find the MS1s more listenable. Usually I think of the MS1 as halfway between the 60 and the 225 (and the 225 half way between the MS1 and the RS1). The MS1s are really one of the greatest price/performance deals in audio. And although they grow with an amp, they sound pretty good straight out an iPod too.
