like crap.  The new lame does a wonderful job if set right.  EAC is
excellent but dbpoweramp rules just for the metadata and the large set
of options that you can use and apply.  But you have to pay for it.  I
feel the dsp's are worth the price alone.  But mainly it's the tagging
that is so nice to have.  2 professional tagging sources and 2 others
that EAC uses 1 of.  No comparison.  If you don't want to spend the
money then EAC is your choice.  You will get the same great rips, just
not the extra's like metadata and album art and the ability to change
it all to your needs before you rip.
