Thanx for the clarification. If it's only standard info available on the CD, it's not a big deal for me. freedb is not that accurate (typos, case, genre, etc) but I do confirm each CD before ripping anyway. I thought there might some other meta information that dbP pulls from the additional sources that is not available through freedb. As far as artwork, it's a nice feature to have but I have elected to use higher resolution images so I would still need to get them and embed them after the rip anyways. I guess I'll stick with EAC. dbP has another feature that is nice and should be considered. A friend was trying to convert his FLAC's with embedded artwork to mp3's and it seems dbP keeps the artwork and embeds in into the mp3's while other tools do not. So it's a plus for dbP. -- flacfan ------------------------------------------------------------------------ flacfan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17385 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53344 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
