Thanx for the clarification.  If it's only standard info available on
the CD, it's not a big deal for me.  
freedb is not that accurate (typos, case, genre, etc) but I do confirm
each CD before ripping anyway.
I thought there might some other meta information that dbP pulls from
the additional sources that is not available through freedb.

As far as artwork, it's a nice feature to have but I have elected to
use higher resolution images so I would still need to get them and
embed them after the rip anyways.

I guess I'll stick with EAC.

dbP has another feature that is nice and should be considered.  A
friend was trying to convert his FLAC's with embedded artwork to mp3's
and it seems dbP keeps the artwork and embeds in into the mp3's while
other tools do not. So it's a plus for dbP.
