Actually dbpoweramp gets a lot of information that you won't get with EAC. Plus you are getting it from 2 pay sites and 2 or 3 free ones and is combined but you can see what it gets from each and choose if you would like. Plus you get all the conversion tools also with dsp's like replay gain and other ones that may or may not be useful to you. I was just playing around with a reverse tool that let me reverse Roger Waters tracks about Stanley Kubeck. Kind of fun and there are over 15 tools to play with your tracks. What it comes down to is if you want a free program you can't do any better than EAC. If you don't mind paying then dbpoweramp really is worth every penny with a ton of features and as good or better secure ripping. But like I say, you won't go wrong by any means for ripping than EAC. -- Nonreality -IF THE RULE YOU FOLLOWED BROUGHT YOU TO THIS, OF WHAT USE IS THE RULE.- HTTP://www.last.fm/user/nonreality ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nonreality's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53344 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
