Only if you're of the opinion that tubes are inherently better. If you
look at the measurements the TP appears to be overkill in terms of
fidelity. The SB3 doesn't measure quite as well but it sounds pretty
good.

I've had my sighted impressions thrown back in my face when the
identity of the player was withheld. I don't really trust myself
anymore when I'm comparing decent sources. (Of course anyone can hear a
stinker but the SB3 is decent IMO.)

There is a lot of pie in the sky when it comes to audio IMO.
