I bought the CPC power supply thinking that if it made no differfence at least it being linear IN THEORY it'll be a cleaner signl or something.
But, I noticed quite a difference. Clearer, more focussed.A "bigger" sound. Main thing is though that the treble has been "sweetened" in that the slight "glare" that made it sound too digital sometimes is gone. To sum up Id say its more analogue-ish. More relaxing, yet clearer and more communicative. It rocks better now, drums have proper thwack. Id say go for it, it MAY be system dependant, but my kit runs through a Tacima mains conditioner which is generally well thought of as a way to clean up your mains. I dunno, it just sounds better. And Im happy with that.
