Well the good news is that (as of SC 7.3.2) you don't need to manually
downsample anything. If you have high-res (>24/48) files you can just
play them and SC will automatically downsample using SOX ( v. high
quality) where needed. This works flawlessly with FLAC files. It should
also work with WAV files. The SB3 is certainly NOT a bad digital
transport!.
