Okay, now I'm confused. This is streaming digital FM, not broadcast.
Are you saying they compress everything even if bandwidth isn't an
issue? 

I'd guess they don't based on what I'm hearing (and I use my vinyl rig
as the baseline, not a CDP). Dynamics are either there or not, and all
the streaming FM I listen to has it.

The other posts about DSP may be valid but if they are doing something,
it sounds good on streaming FM.
