The SB3 is down less than 1db at 9Hz. Try plotting the FR of any loudspeaker you choose on that same graph. If you did a similar comparison for bass distortion at decent SPLs I imagine it would embarrass that loudspeaker even more.
Unfortunately when people compare sources they do so via loudspeakers. It's a bit like comparing the cut of diamonds submerged in a fast moving muddy river. Did that diamond glint a bit brighter than the other one just there? It is hard to reach meaningful conclusions.
