I wonder why the lower models in the DS range DO have a digital out? I wouldn't buy any of the DS'. £10k for a DAC I can't use with any other digital sources, (such as my dvd, sky box, pc soundcard, legacy cd player)seems a lot to pay. If they'd made it a DAC with plenty of inputs, including a buffered ethernet one for streaming, how much better it would be - perhaps they'll bring out such a digital pre-amp next.
