Thanks. In the FLAC section of the File Types settings page, I disabled FLAC streaming, but under the WAV dropdown option, there's only Disabled and FLAC. If both FLAC and WAV are disabled, then it doesn't play. If only FLAC is disabled, then I have no choice but to set WAV to FLAC.
But I think I need to concentrate on the fact that even when nothing is streaming, just the mere connection is causing static/distortion. I know the digital coax cable is working fine.
