I thought you were talking about a VortexBox not a Linkstation Pro. VortexBox runs SqueezeSlave be default. If you connect a USB to S/PDIF converter to it you can play audio directly to your DAC. I have some example setups on my site. This example is for a Home Theater setup but it's very similar to what you want to do. Just connect
