I get the impression that you're aiming for a minimalist system and the Transporter will be the only source component. If that's the case, then you should consider just getting a power amp with balanced inputs. You can connect the TP directly to a power amp provided you use appropriate passive attenuation to optimise the gain staging. Then use the TP's volume control for day-to-day level adjustments.
