With a milestone birthday around the corner, I'm seriously considering buying a Transporter with a Bryston 2BSST (squared) amp. Speakers TBD.
The bulk of my music collection is made up of truly lossless flac files. There is, however, a reasonable amount of iTunes Plus music (256 AAC) in my collection which I've in turn converted to flac. With that in mind, I'm interested in opinions from the audiophile community here as to the sound quality of a 256 AAC file on something as 'revealling' as the Transporter. (I'm assuming the conversion from AAC 256 to flac is completely transparent).
