My opinion is that you've got the purchasing decisions in the wrong order. Start with the speakers and pick the amp according to that. You may even decide the very best speakers within your budget are active speakers which means you will not need a separate amp (or more channels of your chosen amp). I would go active myself but even with passives I would choose the speakers first. Darren
