I completely agree.  There is a lot of utter nonsense out there.  How
for example can a wireless streamer that delivers bit perfect copies of
the original source be anything than perfect, and how can anything
possibly be "better" than it? The only explanation I can think of is
this particular "journalist" is hearing some particular alteration in
the music stream on the "better" sounding component he prefers to bit
perfect reproduction. And if it's 10 times as expensive and has a really
impressive piece of aircraft aluminum front piece all the better,
especially if said "journalist" doens't have to pay for it, and gets it
on long term loan until another equally expensive and impressive piece
of gear gets shipped to his listening room.
