To compound the problem very 24/96 releases are "for real" AIX and some others have made some that is worthy.
Many DVD-A/SACD is no different from there CD counterpart. If it as a difference ? Theres a different mix on the CD part, otherwise you could compare and call their bluff. If you are lucky you get a very good re release of some old analog stuff without the "loudness race" mix thats so popular :) ( yes they do clipped loudness race mixes for DVD-A too ) . I've heard some good ones where they rolled in the original 24 track and done a new mix. But such a re release could also be done for CD but it's probably selling better with a 24/96 hype . I'm pleased and suprised that logitech got 24/96 on the new touch. Good thing that they still care for the 0.0001 % market share. The real loss is that 24/96 in 5.1 is freakishly good, but there we have even less source material, there are better ways than stereo to create a souncscape. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- No it can NOT be controlled with iTunes.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66761 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
