Class D amplifiers don't like speakers which change their impedance
depending on the frequency (ie most of the speakers, actually). There
are some exceptions, though :

Nevertheless, we can reasonably expect that speakers with built-in
amplifiers are the exception to this rule (probably because of the high
feedback ?).

Moreover, I've listened to several really good class-D amps. :)
