I wouldn't use AES/EBU digital out and I wouldn't be surprised to find out that spidf works better. AES/EBU was really added here to meet some, let's say, studio recording requirements but it's not better than good S/PDIF. Don't follow here balanced analog output rule. If you can try BNC, that should be the best. Wonder if you can hear any difference at all. Transporter has really good digital output stage.
