There is no audible difference of a SB vs TP via their respective SPDIF outs , I have tested this extensively into various dacs and into my DSP speakers. The touch is supposed to be on par or close with the TP re its Jitter figures. I think it's a waste to buy a TP merely as front end to a DAC unless you want its other featurews as well
