i hear you phil and i have had this discussion before here but the designers of my dac, whom i have huge respect for, highly recommended using that interface. i have heard both sides of this on many forums! i decided to just go with what they suggested. i do not hear a huge difference but it's hard to compare here. my cable makes a big difference and i only have the aes/ebu. i do appreciate your input as always!!
