I never had this issue either (knock wood). I see a discrepancy in the posts that may be significant. I know the voltage the transporter reports is only a rough approximation. But Robin Bowes -- who never has had this problem -- says his reports a voltage of 236-238, well below the 240V that's usual n the UK (I think?). Mine has always reported a voltage somewhere between 220-223V, while in the transition from 220 to 230 volt we're here at about 227V. Michael123 says that the transporter reports 237V, well ABOVE the 'real' 230 volt. Maybe there is a connection here?
