While I have noticed slightly better sound from hi-rez material I completely agree that the record labels are once again showing how greedy and stupid they really are by charging premium prices for high resolution material. Greedy because it costs them next to nothing to make the high resolution material available. Stupid because first you build up demand and then you increase the price. I really have been enjoying the traditional music industry die a long, slow and painful death. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82067 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
