I completely agree, as would just about all the regulars around here, that the flexibility and convenience of the Squeezebox family of devices is very cool. However I would say that the Touch is quite a bit better than the Duet Receiver, whether using the analog or digital outputs. For $300 one gets a very nice sounding player and an outstanding digital source which can than be paired with the DAC of one's choosing. After downloading some high resolution audio files one can then discover first hand what the future of high quality audio sounds like. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83162 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
