As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be any reason (other than modest price) to get the Receiver rather than the Touch, unless you want the Controller and get a Duet. Even if you don't need or want the touch screen, the higher quality all around would seem to tilt the balance in the direction of the Touch. Even the 24/96 capability itself should make the difference, and the quality of it's own DAC is substantially higher than the Receiver (you might end up wanting to use it without the external DAC).
