OK, accepted, the digital outs are likely to be superb so the resulting sound quality, musicality or in fact 'taste' from the digital source will largely depend on your choice of external DAC, so lets scrub any worries whatsoever about using an SB Duet or Touch as a transport even without mods <-- as a Transport it should be up to 'true' Audiophile standards - full stop!
So after having concluded this, which of the two digital outs should I pick for the best possible connection to a DAC? The optical out or coax out?
