Hello Phil.

1. It's not slices in audio. It's higher energy covering lower energy
distortions. Higher energy gets more prominent. Of course there
is a slight difference if the type of distortions are of different
nature
then just "noise". If we talk cumulative we talk about this or
that source adding the same type of distortions to a particular
distortion (jitter, noise, intermodulations, reflections,power
variations etc.)
And of course there are many effects that this or that distortion
impacts indirectly another type of distortion. Pretty complex all
that.
That's why I always say. Apply all mods if you can. It won't hurt.

In any case you'd still need to get the carpet away first. ;)

2. You are comparing your apples with your apples.
You'll not be able to make any general comments about the effects of
my
entire solution proposal, as an overall solution.
My solution is that's what most people around here are running and
what's up as a kind reference.
That's why I call it apples and pears, when comparing your findings
to
my solution from an engineering perspective.
If it was your intention to just test your own solution - fair
enough.

BTW:
1. Did you do a fresh install on 7.6.? Some people seem to have all
mods running under 7.6..
2. I wanted to ask you if you run a HW modified (Audiocom or similar)
Touch?

Cheers
