Exactly my point. Just because something can be measured, doesn't mean it's worth spending time measuring it. Every now and then we get hit by some stupid factoid, such as "last year, Americans have consumed 45 million gallons of mayonnaise". Yes, it's a measurable fact, but of what use is it to me and you?
