I saw Clapton a couple of years ago in Hyde Park, got the tickets for free for some reason.
I had never seen him live and expected him to be washed out and mediocre. I couldn't have been more wrong. He certainly played a lot of notes, he played on all the numbers in the set and over half of the numbers were covers of blues classics rather than his stuff. When he did his old songs he often played a game with us, trying to hide what song it was until the very last moment. He really seemed to be enjoying himself, was engaging with the audience and sounded great. His rendition of Cocaine on the night was particularly good. I wish I could say the same for his support act. It was Sheryl Crow, who was truly awful. Shame, as I quite like a couple of her albums. -- andynormancx Yes, it will. Yes, all of them.
