You know Adam, it's interesting that you mention Inguz, because it was Inguz that gave me the "I wonder if you could...." thought that ultimately led to pulling the trigger on active monitors to start with.
My $0.02...the DCX is not an expensive unit, it can take a digital input, do the magic in the digital domain, and then output the signal(s) via it's DACs, and analog outputs. Trouble is, I don't know if it's DACs, or it's analog outputs are it's strong suit. Even so, it'd be a interesting way to test a few theories. Where dividing up the outputs at the server side are concerned? I gotta ride the pine on that one.
