Unclear on some of the details discussed in this thread, but I use a Mac Mini serving primarily ripped FLACs from an external Iomega drive to my Transporter over wifi and into my Linn Aktiv bi-amped stereo. It sounds spectacular, even in comparison to my (previously considered excellent) Linn CD player.
