What cracks me up the most about audio reviewer rants saying that digital files can't be as good as the best CD transports is this: I can take any audio CD that isn't badly scratched, pop it into the cheapo CD/DVD drive in my PC, rip it 100% bit perfect (confirmed by AccurateRip), and do it at 8X or 16X real time. And I can do it over and over again, bit perfect every time. Why would anyone need an exotic "audiophile" transport to extract the bits from a CD?
