My primary listening area has extremely good acoustics except that one speaker needs to be nearly two feet closer to the listener's chair (front to back) than the other speaker:-(
Without the Inguz EQ plugin, I wouldn't have been able to use this area for serious listening at all. However, using Inguz's skew control (extended, thanks to Hugh) and a few tenths of a db balance trim, its as though the two speakers are perfectly aligned in space. If I'm reading the recent postings regarding "Touch Mods" correctly, it looks like a few bright end users have figured out enough about the players' dna to focus its resources toward better digital audio performance. I'm writing out of hope that one of these inquisitive folks has come across a way to introduce skew and balance changes without using Inguz. At its current cost of $free, I consider Inguz to be the biggest bargain in high end audio. If it cost as much as the Touch I would still consider it to be a huge bargain. However, I don't need a frequency equalizer in this system, just a little delay in one channel and a little attenuation in the other. Does anyone know of a way to do this? -- Harry G ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Harry G's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1165 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89784 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
