Have used spdif 40 and jive_alsa 55 for a day and i think its to dark... So now I'm running at spdif 48 (my value before changing the jive_alsa) and still with jive_alsa at 55. I'm using a Audiolab CDQ 8200 as DAC and can heard great diff. in sound. And I think that this mod should be something that Logitech should build default into the OS as it's a very good mod for us with external dac's ;-)
