happy to help. Again, I'm almost sure there is something simple going on here. Just not sure what it is. I have had the "no sound, but playing" issue once or twice with my transporter over the last 3 or 4 years, but in all cases it was solved by the xlinx reset (remove power to transporter, point at it with the remote pressing "1" key, then restore power to TP, while pointing at it with remote). I know you tried this, but if the xlinx reset worked, you would have seen something flash on the Transporter screen telling you that it was doing the rest....
