WTF?!? First, I clearly stated that the whole testing was very unscientific and pretty much ad hoc. Second, I also stated that all three versions sounded like they came from the mix. Third, in spite of my disliking how you phrased your statement I do agree with the basic point of your statement in that just because something is high resolution does not automatically mean that it is sonically superior to standard (i.e. CD) resolution. First and foremost is the quality of the original recording. Other important factors include the mix, dynamic range compression, quality of the source material (as in original master tape or a copy), etc. And of course the quality of one's playback system.
