I have 2 audio set ups, Mordaunt Short MS25i attached to an Arcam Alpha 9, and Castle Richmond 3s attached to an Arcam Alpha 5. All many years old certainly but until recently doing what I wanted without issue.
However one speaker in each pair has now developed a pronounced and unnaceptable resonance at certain frequencies. What to do? Take them to the skip or get them repaired? If the skip otion I am inclined at least to take them apart and see if I can spot the problem myself. Is there any chance that it is just something that has worked loose and can be tightened up? ..... or would I be wasting my time?
