Well, it is not only about the chipset. There are many more factors that actually change the way a DAC sounds - but I am no technician. I also read the hifi choice Mini-i review, it looks very promissing. As you can read in another thread I had just bought a Bifrost DAC, which pricewise is stuck in the middle of the Matrix and the Rega - I think it makes a great difference to the Touch on it's own. So to me it was a great investment.
