took toslink out first, completely off the circuit, destroyed actually
as it melted when taking it off. a week later tried the coax soldered
onto the main board.

needless to say, I would also recommend going to TT3.0 with the
priority mods I posted a few pages back at buffer 3400, the sound is
spectacular on my system at least.
