sounds encouraging, must suit your system

I am no longer looking at getting anything better out of the SBT, have
moved on to optimising the output level from the dac to minimise the
effect of any noise. dac manual says sound and noise are the 2 ouputs
from the dac, noise is fixed so to minimise the effect the idea is to
drive a higher line output ie use attenuation, i think I can do this in
the preamp as the input levels can be adjusted. new to me, probably old
hat to you guys.
