I also had to make some sub setup mods that I've kept since TT2.0. I went from LPF 50Hz@-12dB/oct. to 40Hz@-24dB/oct. This makes a huge difference here, with obviously the room making a large diff at those freqs. But without this change the bass was overbearing. I like tuneful impactful bass, but bass that's kept in its place and not ubiquitous. TheOctavist: well, as usual I got distracted from the job and was just listening to the music, stupid me. Anyway, there were only 3 possible configs it could have been (I'm pretty sure of that), I've listened to two, and eliminated one of them. One to go for tonight... Here's the other thing I played with: buffer size. I can hear a diff with it for each config. As many mentioned before, a large or small buffer, no obvious way to tell how it'll sound. Sometimes 3200 is as good or better than 20000, sometimes worse.
