That excellent advice applies to garym's opinion (and my own) as well. ;-) FWIW, in my system switching from a generic cat5 to a Monster cat6 made a significant difference. I was very skeptical, to put it mildly, that it would. I was wrong. But rather than believing or not, why not try it for yourself? If you don't hear any difference, you're only out of a few dollars. If you do, you will congratulate yourself that you tried.
