The issue is not that Ethernet could modify the signal from the LMS to
the Transporter. I am sure that it would be a bit perfect copy from the
LMS to the Transporter. Since there is no jitter in my system compared
to other systems that have external DACs, I can get an error free
copy/transmission in the digital domain. 

The issue is the RFI in the router/bridge that can be coupled through
the Ethernet to the Transporter. It can have a negative impact on the
analog signal.

The tube analog stages do have higher noise levels than solid state
ones. But from my experience, the digital noises are more nasty....
